Dayton Romero
Mountain-Central Regional Program Manager
Dayton is responsible for coordinating with national program leaders and AARP State Offices on the delivery of digital literacy programming through various channels, including in-person and virtual. Dayton studied psychology and gerontology and is a Master of Public Health(c) with a concentration in Leadership and Public Health Practice at the University of Colorado. With almost a decade of nonprofit leadership experience, he is a well-known advocate for older adults, digital equity, and building age friendly communities.
Dayton is an expert on social determinants of health and has been a speaker for many years on housing, elder abuse, mental health, and digital equity. He is a leader at the local, state, and national levels serving as Chair and Vice Chair for organizations like Innovations in Aging Collaborative, Rocky Mountain PACE, and the Pikes Peak Commission on Aging. Dayton has been featured by the American Society of Aging Leadership Institute and was awarded the Mayor’s Young Leader Award for Health & Wellness in Colorado Springs.
Dayton enjoys spending his free time with family, his partner Celeste and his dog Dexter.
Aaron A. Santis
Program Lead
As Program Lead, Aaron is driven to support and grow Senior Planet programing throughout Colorado. Aaron oversees Senior Planet Colorado programs, manages the expert Colorado training team, and helps expand the network of Senior Planet partners. Aaron is Senior Planet’s former Program Manager for New York City. As Program Manager in New York, he managed Senior Planet’s flagship center in New York City, planned programs, and managed an excellent team of volunteers.
Paige Bownds
Center Manager
Paige specializes in experience management, administration, and event coordination. Prior to joining OATS/Senior Planet, she oversaw operations, grew membership through trust and longstanding relationships, curated multiple festivals, and supervised a team of 30 that delivered top notch experiences for their members. She was also a key operations team member for the Houston Astros and LSU.
Paige has a Bachelor of Science in Sports Administration with a double minor in Business and Psychology from Louisiana State University. In her free time, she loves being outdoors (hiking), exploring breweries and restaurants with friends, watching sports (SEC football and MLB in particular) and a good movie.
