Course Description

This multi-week, interactive series will introduce you to Canva, a popular design platform. We’ll first take a look at the many graphic design platforms available. Then, we’ll cover the basics of Canva and learn about the platform’s popular features that allow you to design almost anything –from greeting cards to flyers. With the help of your trainer and classmates, you’ll use those features to create a project with Canva!

• Week 1: Graphic Design Tools(lecture) + Getting Started with Canva(workshop) 
• Week 2: Two Canva Open Lab 
• Week 3: Project using Canva
• Week 4: Project using Canva
• Week 5: Project Presentations

Course Prerequisites

This series is best suited for participants who are comfortable performing internet searches and filling out forms online.
