Travel the World with Senior Planet

Want to explore the world from the comfort of your home? Planning a trip and searching for tech advice? Look no further!

Senior Planet has recently launched a new travel page that showcases all we have to offer for armchair adventurers and jetsetters alike. On this page you can expect to find:

  • Live tours led by experienced local guides
  • Classes on popular tech for travel such as Airbnb and translation tools
  • Short tech tip videos on topics like ridesharing apps and Apple AirTags
  • Articles related to travel (like this one: How to Avoid Roaming Fees Abroad)
  • More!

“We have been hearing more and more from older adults that they want to explore the world and technology can be a great tool to do just that,” says Alex Glazebrook, VP of Program Operations at Senior Planet. “Virtual tours have come a long way and it’s now possible to experience new places without ever leaving home. And for those who are planning to travel, advances in technology have made things like navigating a new city or communicating in a foreign language much easier than even just a few years ago.”

Travel-related programs have been growing in popularity at Senior Planet and the new page will be updated regularly with new tours, classes, and other resources.
